Duxford provides a stimulating environment for supporting National Curriculum Programmes of Study for History, Design and Technology, Art, Science, Literacy, Numeracy, PSHE and Citizenship at all key stages, as well as broader cross-curricular topics such as 'Flight'.

During pre-booked educational activities, pupils are given 'hands-on' experience of artefacts and other primary sources of evidence, wherever possible, to stimulate their interest in the subject and extend specific skills such as observation, analysis, deduction and justification.
