Imperial War Museum Duxford

The American Air Museum, designed by Lord Foster, is an outstanding example of contemporary British architecture. It houses exceptional and fascinating collection of aircraft and military exhibits including the largest collection of US aircraft outside America. The building won the prestigious RIBA 'Building of the Year' Award in 1998 and has intrigued and delighted visitors since.

The exhibition was reorganised in 2002 to include some exciting new aircraft including the famous SR-71 Blackbird spyplane - still the fastest aircraft ever at over 3 times the speed of sound.

This remarkable building is available for exclusive evening hire for dinners, receptions, awards, ceremonies and more. With a capacity of 500 for seated dinner dances, with plenty of space for a dance floor and band, this venue is as flexible as your imagination. It has recently hosted events as diverse as a fashion show with 750 guests and a cinema screening for 450.
