Commercial Filming at Duxford

Duxford’s buildings and exhibits make a great location setting for exciting film, TV and photographic opportunities. Duxford is best known for its variety of both static and airworthy aircraft, but we also host a large collection of military vehicles, some of which are in running condition.

There are also several private operators based at Duxford who own and run airworthy aircraft, including Spitfires, Mustangs, Corsairs, Harvards, Kittyhawks and the famous ‘Sally B’ B17 to name a few.

Previous filming & photography have included filming of the Hollywood Blockbuster film ‘Memphis Belle’, music video shoots for acts such as Travis, Fat Boy Slim and Busted, plus various programmes & photoshoots both aviation and non-aviation related. Some of these include Channel 4’s ‘Spitfire Ace’ & ‘Bomber Crew’, ITV’s ‘Foyles War’, BBC’s ‘Top Gear’, 'Silent Witness', & 'Who Do You Think You Are'.
