There is no need for families to 'make-do-and-mend' at Duxford!

Whether you are 5, 35, 75 or 105, join up for family fun at Duxford.

Always fancied testing out a recipe by 'Potato Pete' or finding out just who is Dr Carrot? Get creative with camouflage or build a paper aeroplane. Be a Duxford Detective, have a talk, take a tour or even sit in an ejector seat. For a great day out, Duxford has exciting activities for all the family. Check out our activities menu for further details.

Stop Press!

Read on, to find out who were the winners of the 'What the Americans Did for Us' day during the February half-term. This quiz and trail was based on the subject of 'nose art' found on the Second World War aircraft in the American Air Museum.  The children then had to think what sort of 'nose art' they would paint on to their own aircraft if they had been a pilot in the Second World War. Our congratulations go to:

Rainbow-Nose Art
Rainbow - Nose Art
Amy Woodbridge, aged 5 (under 7 years category) who called her aircraft 'Rainbow'

Nocturnal Nellie-Nose Art

Eleanor Smith, age 10 (7-11 years category) calling her aircraft 'Nocturnal Nellie'
