Duxford accredits around 600 journalists, reviewers and broadcasters every year. All representatives of the media, including freelance journalists and photographers on assignment for recognised publications or organisations, are invited to apply for Media Accreditation for each Air Show to gain a media pass. Accreditation is limited; media members will be issued a pass for themselves only and no more than 3 passes will be issued to each publication/organisation. A Duxford media pass will allow you to cover an individual air show and entitles you to the following:
- Complimentary entry to the Air Show
- Access to the Media centre from 8:30am – 5:30pm, (located in the centre of the site, in front of the Control Tower).
- Media Packs – including biographies on Aces and veterans, Information on the unique and rare aircraft taking part in the show and a schedule of the day’s events.
- Access to the flight line walk before the display.
- Access to two media enclosures for covering the display.
- Schedule of the day; including photo and interview opportunities with veterans.
- Media area with indoor and outdoor seating and complimentary tea/coffee facilities
