Hawker Hunter

RAF Hunters
A formation of RAF Hunters (British Aerospace)
The Hawker Hunter replaced the Meteor F8 as the RAF's main front line interceptor in July 1954.

The Hunter's versatility and excellent handling characteristics made it the outstanding British post-war fighter and ensured its great export success.

Of the 2,000 Hunters built, over 1,100 were eventually sold abroad and served with 20 foreign air forces.
